Size Charts & Measuring Guide
Find your perfect size
For the most accurate results, have someone else measure you. Also, please keep in mind that it is best to measure while you're wearing undergarments, not a shirt or pants.
Bust:
Place the measuring tape under your arms and measure around the fullest part of your bustline, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.
Waist:
Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, usually at your belly button, where your waist creases as you bend to the side.
Hips:
With your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually at the top of your legs, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.
Arm length:
Standing straight with your arm relaxed, measure from your shoulder to your wrist.
Inseam:
Measure from the top of your inner thigh down to where you like your pants to hit.
Who can wear petites?
The most flattering petite fit not only addresses height, but proportions, too. Petite sizing is designed for women 5'4" and under, but there are other factors that determine who should wear petites. If you have narrow shoulders or proportionately shorter arms, you may be able to wear petite tops. If your legs are proportionately shorter than your torso, you may want to try petite pants and skirts.
It's a proportion, not a size.®
Christopher & Banks offers the perfect fit for your size. We have proportionally adjusted the bust, waist, and hip measurements to different dimensions for Missy, Women and Petite figures-it's what makes your sizing unique. Christopher & Banks creates clothing scaled to proportionately accurate sizing, rather than making the same dimensions larger or smaller. We are happy to offer this variety and hope you find some beautiful additions for your wardrobe that fit your body, just as it is.

Our Company
Putting Her First
The Christopher & Banks story starts in 1956, when founder Gil Braun opened his first store-then called Braun's Fashions-in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He opened it with "Her" in mind: local women who were full of life and wisdom, confident in their beliefs, and in search of wardrobes that reflected their lifestyle and made them feel fabulous at a price they loved.
Over the years, trends have come and gone, and even our name has evolved, but one thing has remained constant: our mission to empower women through confidence and style. In 2000, we launched CJ Banks to meet the underserved needs of women in sizes 14W-24W, and it's still a cherished part of who we are today.
At Christopher & Banks, we continue to put Her first—focusing on the style, fit, and quality that help women feel amazing every day, and especially on their most unforgettable moments. Thoughtfully created with real women in mind, we offer a range of sizes—missy, women, and petite—making it easier than ever to find that perfect fit.
Christopher & Banks delivers style, value and service so every day our customers can look in the mirror and say, "I look fabulous and feel amazing."
Mission
Our mission is to provide women of all sizes with apparel and accessories with style and versatility that reflects who she is, lasting quality and affordable value she expects delivered with the personalized attention she deserves.
Vision
To be her trusted brand by delivering style and value every day.
Values
- Responsibility: We take responsibility for our words and actions, building trust and loyalty in the pursuit of excellence.
- Collaboration: We believe in partnership. We build the right teams to make a positive difference.
- Integrity: We always do the right thing. We ethically uphold and follow Company Policy.
- Communication: We communicate openly, freely exchanging ideas and information.
Privacy & Security
At Christopher & Banks, we know that keeping your credit card information secure is important to you. That makes it very important to us. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128bit encryption technology to protect your online information.
How do we make sure information is secure?
We use the latest encryption technology (Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL) to secure your personal information. The information you provide when you place an order is encrypted (or coded) using a secure server for maximum security. This coding makes it extremely difficult for anyone to reach your information as it moves through our ordering system.
Certain browsers will not allow communication through secure servers. If this is the case, you won't be able to place an order online. If you have any problems placing an order online please print your shopping page and place your order by phone by calling Christopher & Banks' Customer Service at 1-800-890-9601.
To check the security of your computer, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window if you are using Netscape, or the lower right-hand corner of your browser window if you are using Internet Explorer. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock, then the encryption technology is active and the server is secure. You can also check by looking at the URL line of your browser; when you access a secure server, the initial characters of the site address will be "https."
What if you link to another site?
Our website may provide links to other websites that are not under our control. Neither we nor the third party service providers who manage our website are responsible for these linked websites, their content or for the actions of the providers of such sites. We recommend that you review the privacy and security policies and terms of use for any websites you use.
Do I have to turn the security feature on when I want to shop?
The security features are automatic, and always on. You don't have to do anything but shop. Clicking "Checkout" on any page is all it takes to get started in our secure checkout process.
How do I know if I'm connected when I start ordering?
Once you've clicked the "Continue Checkout" button, your browser looks for a digital certificate to confirm that it's communicating with our web-site. Once a positive ID is made, your order will continue securely.
Are all the pages on your web-site secure?
Most of the pages on our website provide information about Christopher & Banks and our products. We make this information available freely and there's no reason for these pages to be "secure." The pages that we make secure are the ones on which you actually make the purchase, such as when managing your account, checking your order status, or within the "Checkout" area. For example, the entire checkout process, from introduction to final confirmation, is completely secure.
Is my information secure when it's transmitted across the Internet?
All of your information is encrypted before it's transmitted across the Internet, then decoded only after it arrives at our secure servers.

This notice is required by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the "CCPA") which only applies to residents of California. For more information about our information collection practices and procedures, and about the rights of California residents under the CCPA , please visit our Privacy Policy page.
The term "sell" is very broadly defined under the CCPA. Under the CCPA, "sell" means sell, rent, release, disclose, disseminate, make available, transfer, or otherwise communicate orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means a consumer's personal information by the business to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. California residents have the right to direct us, at any time, not to sell their personal information to third parties. This is called the right to opt out.
The purpose of this notice is to advise California residents that we may sell your personal information within the meaning of the CCPA.
To exercise this right, California residents may opt-out by emailing [email protected] and indicating in the e-mail, (i) your name, address and e-mail address, (ii) that you are a resident of California, and (iii) you are exercising your right to opt-out of the "sale" of your personal information. You may also make this request by calling our Customer Service Department at 800-890-9601, and providing the same information and request.
You do not need to create an account with us to exercise this right. However, the law contains exceptions to the definition of selling which may limit how we may respond to your request. For example, selling does not include (i) performing services on behalf of Christopher & Banks whether directly or through a service provider such as servicing accounts, processing payments etc. or (ii) auditing related to a current interaction with a California resident.
California residents can also authorize another person, called an agent, to opt out of the sale of their personal information on their behalf. When a California resident uses an authorized agent to exercise his or her right to opt out, we may require proof that the agent has been authorized by the resident to act on his or behalf, including a written confirmation from the resident confirming the authorization.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your IV Media account and password information and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
- Disclaimer and limitation as to use of IV Media Networks Services
IV Media Networks Services are operated on an "as is," "as available" basis. To the full extent permitted by law, IV Media and its affiliates disclaim any and all representations and warranties with respect to the IV Media Networks Services, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, but not limited to, warranties of title, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or use. Without limiting the foregoing, IV Media and its affiliates do not represent or warrant that the IV Media Networks Services will operate without interruption or error. Your use of the IV Media Networks Services is at your sole risk. Applicable law, including the law in new jersey, may not allow the limitation of liability set forth above, so this limitation of liability may not apply to you.
- Arbitration Agreement
Instead of suing in court, you and IV Media each agree to arbitrate disputes on a bilateral (individual) basis. You and IV Media agree that any dispute, controversy or claim between you and IV Media which cannot be settled through the customer service department refunding your payments in full (if applicable) and which arises out of or relates to (i) these Terms of Use; (ii) any aspect of your relationship with IV Media and IV Media Networks Services, irrespective of whether the dispute, controversy or claim arose after the termination of the relationship between you and IV Media and/or IV Media Networks Services (collectively, "Claims"), shall be resolved by one arbitrator through binding arbitration. This agreement to arbitrate is intended to be broadly interpreted. It includes Claims based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation or any other legal theory. You understand and agree that you are waiving your right to sue or go to court to assert or defend your rights; provided, however, either you or IV Media may bring an individual lawsuit in small claims court consistent with the jurisdictional and dollar limits that may apply. The arbitrator's decision and award are final and binding, with only those exceptions provided under the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §§ 1, et seq. ("FAA"), and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
- Class Action Waiver. IV Media and you each agree that each and both Parties are waiving the right to a trial by jury and may bring Claims against the other party only in an individual capacity and not in a class action or representative or collective proceeding. All arbitrations under this Arbitration Agreement shall be conducted on an individual (and not a class-wide or collective) basis and an arbitrator shall have no authority to award class-wide or collective relief. You acknowledge and agree that these Terms of Use specifically prohibit you from commencing any legal proceedings as a representative of others or joining in any arbitration proceedings brought by any other person ("Class Action Waiver"). If a court decides that the limitations of this paragraph are invalid or unenforceable, any putative class, private attorney general, or representative action must be brought in a court of proper jurisdiction and not in arbitration.
- Informal Dispute Resolution Requirement. A party who intends to seek arbitration must first send to the other a written Notice of Dispute describing the nature and basis of the Claim and setting forth the specific relief sought. All notices to IV Media shall be sent to the following address: IV Media Legal Department, 6740 Shady Oak Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. All notices sent by IV Media to you will be sent to the email and/or mailing address provided in your IV Media Account. Upon receipt of such notice, the other Party shall have a sixty (60) day period in which it may satisfy the Claim against it by fully curing the Claim and/or providing all the relief requested in the notice, and/or entering into a settlement to resolve the Claim to the mutual satisfaction of the Parties. After the expiration of such sixty (60) day period, you or IV Media may commence an arbitration proceeding. Both you and IV Media agree that this dispute resolution procedure is a condition precedent which must be satisfied before initiating any arbitration against the other party.
- Right to Opt Out of this Arbitration Agreement. You may opt out of this Arbitration Agreement within the first 30 days after the earliest of the first time you (a) make a purchase from IV Media; or (b) sign up for any program or service provided by IV Media. You may also opt out of this Arbitration Agreement within 30 days after we provide notice of a material change to this Arbitration Agreement.
- Arbitration Procedures. The arbitration of any Claim under this Agreement shall be referred to the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its rules and procedures, including the AAA's Commercial Dispute Resolution Procedures and Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. These rules and procedures, including information on how to initiate arbitration, are available by calling the AAA or by visiting its website (www.adr.org). Unless you and ShopHQ agree otherwise, including to conduct arbitration by telephone or videoconference, the arbitration of any Claim shall be conducted in the State in which you reside, and ShopHQ will: (1) pay all costs of the arbitration; and (2) not seek attorney's fees in the event ShopHQ prevails. Each party shall pay the fees and costs of its own counsel, experts and witnesses.
- Governing Law and Other Terms. This Arbitration Agreement shall be governed by, and interpreted, construed, and enforced in accordance with, the FAA and other applicable federal law. To the extent state law applies to any aspect of this Arbitration Agreement, or to Claims that are covered by the Arbitration Agreement, the law of the State of Minnesota, will govern. IV Media will provide notice of any material changes to this Arbitration Agreement. Except as set forth above regarding the Class Action Waiver provision, if a court decides that any portion of this Arbitration Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, such determination will not invalidate the remaining portions of the Arbitration Agreement. Only the arbitrator is authorized to make determinations as to the scope, validity, or enforceability of this Agreement, including whether any dispute falls within its scope. However, the parties agree that any issue concerning the validity of the class action/representative waiver above must be decided by a court, and an arbitrator does not have authority to consider the validity of the waiver.

Dispute Resolution
- General. In the interest of resolving disputes between you and Christopher & Banks in the most expedient and cost effective manner, you and Christopher & Banks agree that any dispute arising out of or in any way related to these messaging terms and conditions ("Messaging Terms") or your receipt of text messages from Christopher & Banks or its service providers will be resolved by binding arbitration. Arbitration is less formal than a lawsuit in court. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury, may allow for more limited discovery than in court, and can be subject to very limited review by courts. Arbitrators can award the same damages and relief that a court can award. This agreement to arbitrate disputes includes all claims arising out of or in any way related to these Messaging Terms, or your receipt of text messages from Christopher & Banks or its service providers whether based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory, and regardless of when a claim arises. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, BY AGREEING TO THESE MESSAGING TERMS, YOU AND Christopher & Banks ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION AND THAT THESE MESSAGING TERMS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO AND GOVERNED BY THE FEDERAL ARBITRATION ACT.
- Exceptions. Notwithstanding subsection (a) above, nothing in these Messaging Terms will be deemed to waive, preclude, or otherwise limit the right of you or Christopher & Banks to: (i) bring an individual action in small claims court; (ii) pursue an enforcement action through the applicable federal, state, or local agency if that action is available; (iii) seek injunctive relief in aid of arbitration from a court of competent jurisdiction; or (iv) file suit in a court of law to address an intellectual property infringement claim.
- Arbitrator. Any arbitration between you and Christopher & Banks will be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and the Commercial Dispute Resolution Procedures and Supplementary Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes (collectively, "AAA Rules") of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"), as modified by these Messaging Terms, and will be administered by the AAA. The AAA Rules and filing forms are available online at www.adr.org, by calling the AAA at 1-800-778-7879, or by contacting Christopher & Banks. The arbitrator has exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, or enforceability of this binding arbitration agreement.
- otice; Process. If you or Christopher & Banks intends to seek arbitration, then the party seeking arbitration must first send a written notice of the dispute to the other party by U.S. Mail ("Notice"). Christopher & Banks address for Notice is: 6740 Shady Oak Road, Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344, Attn: Chief Executive Officer. The Notice must: (i) describe the nature and basis of the claim or dispute; and (ii) set forth the specific relief sought ("Demand"). You and Christopher & Banks will make good faith efforts to resolve the claim directly, but if you and Christopher & Banks do not reach an agreement to do so within 30 days after the Notice is received, you or Christopher & Banks may commence an arbitration proceeding. During the arbitration, the amount of any settlement offer made by you or Christopher & Banks must not be disclosed to the arbitrator until after the arbitrator makes a final decision and award, if any. (e) Fees. If you commence arbitration in accordance with these Messaging Terms, Christopher & Banks will reimburse you for your payment of the filing fee, unless your claim is for more than $15,000 or as set forth below, in which case the payment of any fees will be decided by the AAA Rules. If the claim is for $15,000 or less, you may choose whether the arbitration will be conducted: (i) solely on the basis of documents submitted to the arbitrator; (ii) through a non-appearance based telephone hearing; or (iii) by an in-person hearing as established by the AAA Rules. If the arbitrator finds that either the substance of your claim or the relief sought in the Demand is frivolous or brought for an improper purpose (as measured by the standards set forth in Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11(b)), then the payment of all fees will be governed by the AAA Rules. In that case, you agree to reimburse Christopher & Banks for all monies previously disbursed by it that are otherwise your obligation to pay under the AAA Rules. Regardless of the manner in which the arbitration is conducted, the arbitrator must issue a reasoned written decision sufficient to explain the essential findings and conclusions on which the decision and award, if any, are based. You and Christopher & Banks agree that such written decision, and information exchanged during arbitration, will be kept confidential except to the extent necessary to enforce or permit limited judicial review of the award. The arbitrator may make rulings and resolve disputes as to the payment and reimbursement of fees or expenses at any time during the proceeding and upon request from you or Christopher & Banks made within 14 days of the arbitrator's ruling on the merits.
- No Class Actions. YOU AND Christopher & Banks AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. Further, unless both you and Christopher & Banks agree otherwise in a signed writing, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
- Modifications to this Arbitration Provision. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Messaging Terms, if Christopher & Banks makes any future change to this arbitration provision, other than a change to Christopher & Banks address for Notice, you may reject the change by sending us written notice within 30 days of the change to Christopher & Banks address for Notice, in which case this arbitration provision, as in effect immediately prior to the changes you rejected, will continue to govern any disputes between you and Christopher & Banks.
- Enforceability. If an arbitrator decides that applicable law precludes enforcement of any of the limitations of subsection (f) above (addressing class, representative and consolidated proceedings) as to a particular claim for relief, then that claim (and only that claim) must be severed from the arbitration and brought in court. If any other provision of these Messaging Terms is found to be unenforceable, the applicable provision shall be deemed stricken and the remainder of these Messaging Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
